New Formats and Challenging Weather
The competition, held from 22–31 May 2025, was exceptional not only for its high-calibre field of competitors but also for its organisational innovations. The organisers successfully trialed a shorter competition period, reducing it from the traditional 14 days to just 10, and completed all technical scrutineering in a single day. Although weather conditions throughout the championship were challenging, a total of six valid tasks were flown.
Task Speeds Exceeding 100 km/h
Pilots competed in three classes: Club, Combi 15m, and Combi Open. The average speeds of the winners in all classes exceeded 100 km/h. A particularly exceptional performance was recorded by Radek Krejčiřík in the Combi Open class, who on 25 May achieved an average speed of 156 km/h—a result worthy of Europe’s elite pilots.
