Flight Crew Fatigue: Czech CAA Continues its Survey

Aiming to Monitor Changes and Evaluate Trends

The initial survey, conducted in 2024, yielded valuable insights into how crews perceive their workload, rostering, and rest opportunities. The CAA now aims to determine whether the situation has changed since then, for instance, due to operational adjustments, internal measures by operators, or a growing awareness of fatigue-related risks.

A Short, Anonymous Questionnaire

The questionnaire is designed for all flight and cabin crew members, regardless of their type of operation. It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete, and all responses are fully anonymous. The CAA states that the collected data will be used exclusively to evaluate trends and to propose measures in the field of Fatigue Risk Management (FRM). The survey is available via Google Forms and will remain open until 31 October 2025.

Hi! I’m Beatrix, and at AeroInfo.eu I’m in charge of everything that keeps this European aviation portal for pilots running smoothly. I publish articles, tweak whatever needs fixing, and make sure everything works as it should. I live somewhere between text editing and airplanes – and I absolutely love that combination. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve looked up at the sky and dreamed of flying and piloting aircraft. Now, I’m finally making that dream come true – I’m currently training to become a pilot at the Aeroprague flight school, and with every flight, I’m getting closer to my goal. It’s not always easy, but that just makes me even more determined. I want to show that when you truly love something, you can chase it – even all the way to the clouds.
