First unveiled in 2023, this new generation aircraft, part of the legendary Cessna Citation 560XL family, is a modern midsize business jet representing a significant advancement in technology and cabin comfort. What the Ascend Offers
The aircraft features the modern Garmin G5000 avionics suite, including autothrottle, advanced weather detection, and other modern navigation functions. The onboard avionics represent the latest technology available in the mid-size business jet segment. The Ascend is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW545D engines, enabling it to achieve a maximum cruise speed of 817 km/h and a range of up to 1,940 nautical miles (3,593 km) at optimal load.
The cabin offers a flat floor, enhancing passenger comfort, and its design builds upon the previous 560XL models, of which more than 1,000 have been delivered to date. Context and Future
The Citation Ascend was originally unveiled at the EBACE aviation exhibition in 2023 as a successor to part of the 560XL series.
