The well-organised event and excellent spectator turnout were unfortunately disrupted by a thunderstorm and heavy rain. Nevertheless, a host of unique models were on display, including World War I aircraft like the Sopwith Pup, Fokker Dr.I, and Nieuport 17, as well as World War II icons such as the North American P-51 Mustang, Spitfire, and North American B-25 Mitchell.
Among the jet fighters present were the MiG-21, MiG-29, JAS-39 Gripen, and L-39 Albatros. Other notable aircraft included a Z-37T Turbo Čmelák serving as a tow plane for an L-13 Blaník glider, a Christen Eagle aerobatic biplane, and a classic Cessna. A Merkava Mk. III main battle tank also made an appearance on the field.
We wish the modellers better luck with the weather for their next gathering.
